Malpractice is one of the most fascinating areas in which to practice because it involves two levels- the negligence aspect and the underlying merits of the service the professional has provided.  The defense of malpractice claims representing insured policy holders (and occasionally direct defendants) against legal, architectural/engineering, accounting, insurance broker, and medical malpractice claims has been a staple of my career.
